I think this is a bad sign.

Too Tired?
Is it possible that running on not enough sleep can make me incoherent? I was just working on a paper and was trying to type the word: "wept" but instead, typed out "wepped."

Faux Pas
Today when I was walking up the stairs, there was a girl who was having a sneeze attack. She did at least 5 in a row, and when she finished, I told her, "Excuse you!" (<--- real cheerful like)
Now, obviously I was TRYING to say, "Bless you!" but instead I was a rude-head.
Sorry lady!

Post Schmost
Why is it that replacing the first one or two letters from a word and replacing them with "schm" seems to negate them, and make them feel worthless? I've been known to use quite often. My favorite? Honor code - Schmonor code. It just seems natural.

These are a few of my favorite things
My mind was wandering the other day (no NOT during church... why would you think that?!) and I realized that sometimes the very smallest thing can entertain me to no end, make me nostalgic, or thrill me deeply. I came up with a list-- just a small fraction of the things that make me grin, cry, or laugh. Mostly smile. Some are obscure, small, and/or insignificant. Some are more philosophical. Enjoy...
*brushing my teeth with really cold water
*having my mom gently wake me up for breakfast
*mastering new concepts
*people that express their weirdness through unique fashion
*preserving the smooth top of a new jar of peanut butter or nutella
*waking up, thinking that it's time to get up and go to school, then looking at the clock and realizing it's really only 1 a.m. and I still get to sleep some more!
*singing along with the guitar solo in Bohemian Rhapsody (more of a reflex than an actual choice)
*rewriting math homework so that it's perfectly laid out, and there are no smudges
*wandering around Costco semi-aimlessly with my parents
*giving the poor Jamba Juice employees my complicated order so I can have the ultimate smoothie
*my JOB!
*getting new pallets of eyeshadow
*really long, firm hugs (bonus if he smells good)
*crunching violently the "fall"en leaves (pun)
*expert filmmaking that provides social satire in a thought-provoking, tear-inducing way (epitome: Edward Scissorhands)
*catching a whiff of my smokey-smelling hair or clothes immediately after a campfire
*Daria
*celebrating the many successes and triumphs of Olympic athletes
*getting a really good parking spot
*getting crazy: Beyoncé style at dances
*knowing the answer to a random trivia question
*people that are smarter than they look
*quoting movies incessantly with my brothers
*doing my hair for the first time after a new haircut
*wickedly clever insults
*going to bed without setting an alarm for the next morning
*finding a foundation that matches my face perfectly
*having butterfly-inducing, shallow crushes on celebrities
*Jim Halpert
*Making "inside joke" t-shirts
*getting dressed up for a special night-out
*the satisfaction from comparing the before and after of vacuuming carpet (especially if the vacuum leaves tread marks that you can make perfect!)
*being so excited for something that you can't sleep the night before!
