If you give a Melissa an MJ book...

Yesterday I got the This Is It DVD and CD booklet (because you got a discount if you buy both).

The book is absolutely beautiful, and totally worth the money (even though I already have all the songs on the CD - haha).

If you don't want to spend the money on the CD booklet, that's okay because I'm going to share some of the pictures from it with you.

Please enjoy this interpretive reading.

Edit: I'm sorry about the buzzing/hum in the video.

Come One, Come All

Okay, sorry about the super lame post title, but I have a great idea!

I am shamelessly stealing this idea from my friend Katie, who stole it from somebody else (two plagiarisms = not illegal, right?).

Here's the game. It is called: tell me who you are.

It is very interesting! You see, with my little "Reverse Stalking" feature on the sidebar to the left, I can see from where people are arriving and from which URL's. BUT, here's the kicker - I don't actually know who they are!

So EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO READS THIS, please post a comment, just saying who you are and how you know me, or how you found this blog! You don't have to give your name if you don't want to, just say like, "a friend of Katie's, I found you through her blog." Or something like that.

So Hailey, ID and Pleasant Grove, UT and Florence, South Carolina, I know you read me, now play my game!

Is that clear enough for you?

Throughout the course of a day of work (I'm a pharmacy technician at Target Pharmacy) I sometimes need to call insurance companies to get overrides, or some other annoying interaction.

One day a few weeks ago, the insurance representative I was speaking with asked me to read them the clients ID number, which included several numbers. I included the normal C as in "cat" and A as in "Armadillo" but when I came to an R, my brain decided to say, "R as in R2-D2."

My boss laughed at me, but I think it's a perfectly acceptable thing to say.

Has anyone ever told you you look just like...

Finn Hudson is in my Honors 202 class.

Yep.

It's true.

It's not just someone that looks kinda like him. It is either a mormon doppleganger, or a twin separated at birth (although their births were probably about 8 years apart).

He sits in the back.

He's quiet.

He uses a fake name (obviously, so that people don't just attack him everywhere he goes).

Can you blame him for wanting to lay low?

But I know he's the real thing.

Or at the very least...

a younger brother

with a different last name

who isn't actually related to Cory Monteith

Say hello

to the newest member of my MJ poster family!

My brother Garrett got me this poster for Christmas:

Isn't it great? The advertising for that movie was excellent, I tell you.

Here are the other two posters. The older, wiser big brothers:

&

And here's the family all together:

Have you ever seen such a lovely sight?

Wouldn't it be cool if...

If you were able to talk to a whole bunch of people, and set a date for everyone to yell "Bless you!" at every single person that sneezes that day? I just like to think about someone sneezing in a public area and then like 30 people shouting "Gesundheit!" at them!

It would freak them out, and I would laugh.

BAN

A long long time ago, I purchased my first stick of THIS baby:

Of course, it wasn't the spanish version, but you get the picture.

Anyway, I obviously purchased it only because it shares its name with a gloriously tender Bread song. But to my delight I discovered that it smells just like purple starbursts! Yes, it's a wonder I don't just chomp down on it all the livelong day.

Also, BONUS it works really well.

So maybe it IS safe to judge things by their cover. You might even be pleasantly surprised.
