Stranger in Moscow

Let's be honest. My feelings about Michael Jackson are not exactly a secret. While I usually deny his existence after about 1987 (Smooth Criminal), this music video, and the 1995 MTV Music Videos Awards performance are acceptable.

Despite his Ferra Fawcett hair and being at just about the peak of his womanliness, this is a BEAUTIFUL video. The cinematography is breathtaking, and I think the vocals are really just hauntingly beautiful.

What do you think? Are you able to get past the creepiness and appreciate this as a musical and cinematic masterpiece? Or does the feathering just get to you too much?

A Medical Oddity

Is it possible that I'm the first human to regrow their wisdom teeth? I am having some immense pains in my gum... feel like I'm teething again. I think my wisdom teeth apparated back into my mouth and are trying to poke through the gums. Hmm... maybe I could get paid to take part in a research trial? Maybe I CAN afford to go to college!

Boycott

I think this holiday is dumb. I forgot it was St. Patrick's Day until this morning. When I realized that, i changed outfits from my green shirt I had coincidentally chosen to wear to a red based outfit. Opposite! Take THAT stupid holiday!

P.S. If this holiday were really about celebrating Irish culture, that would be a different story. But because it's not, I can hate it.

For the love of nerds...

My dad told me this joke the other day, and I thought so highly of it I decided to put it on this majestic pedestal that is my blog. Hope you enjoy! Nerdy jokes are the best because it's like an inside joke with all the smart people in the world!

A biologist, a physicist, and a mathematician form a surveillance team and begin watching a house they believe to be empty. After a short while, 2 people go into the house.  A while later, 3 people leave the house.  The biologist says, "Look, they reproduced!"  The physicist says, "There must have been an error in the measurement."  The mathematician says, "If one more person enters the house, then the house will be empty again."
