Movin' Out

*que the Billy Joel song playing in your head*

Today is move out day for me. I'm officially done with my second year of college, and am incredibly excited to have a break from school - and to move back in with my family!

There are some things I'll miss about this year, and this apartment. There are also some things that I won't miss at ALL.

One of the best things about this apartment was that although the internet was rather sporadic, some of the names people came up with were just great.

Here's a gem - one of the best from the year:

That's right, "Get that Corn out of my Face!"

Love it. Too bad it was locked! I bet it drew extra speed and strength from the awesomeness of its name.

I look forward to my next family reunion

Last week I had the opportunity to go up to the Family History Library up in downtown SLC. I spent 3 hours doing original research, and was able to find some pretty cool stuff! I found the name of my paternal great grandparents on census records, and even found a birth certificate that gave me a link to ANOTHER generation. What was my great great grandmother's name, you ask? Wilhelmina Mulder. That's right: MULDER!

At first I was elated, but then I realized that that's kinda like this:

Qué Triste!

Oh Fox, how I love thee. Please don't be turned off by our close familial relations!

*heart*

So I guess my question for YOU, devoted readers, is: How taboo is inbreeding these days?

Hope you all had a lovely Easter!

Thank goodness for...

Straightening irons.

Here's what my hair looks like when I just brush it out and let it air dry:

please ignore the death glare

Apparently my hair believes it belongs in the 1940's. I mean, I have been told I have an old soul, but this is taking it a bit far.
