Every time I crack an egg for baking, scrambling, frying, after boiling, or basically EVER... I'm secretly scared that a lifeless, wet, heaving, squishy-sound-making, disgusting, half-formed chick corpse is going to plop out.
It bothers me to think about.

With all the eggs I've ever cooked (and you know that's not a small number), I've never encountered anything remotely similar to what you describe.
It seems likely that you can safely divert some of your worrying capacity to safer bets like lightning strikes, shark attacks, or disgruntled meteorites.
GROSS. That is rather horrible.
eggs are totally gross. I love them and eat them plentifully, but they are gross.
