Yesterday, as I'm sure you're aware, was the delightful holiday known as Pi Day. If you do not understand why March 14 is an appropriate day to celebrate that incredible number, slap yourself.
Moving on.
Can I just tell you why I love Pi Day so much? I will tell you, no matter how you just answered that question. I love Pi Day because it is a day to celebrate delicious food AND geekdom! Could there be a better combination? I don't suppose so.
We had some people over last night and told math jokes and ate thousands of pounds of pie. (am I the greatest FHE leader or WHAT!?)
I made (with a lot of crust assistance from my dear mother) four kinds of pie:
Tollhouse Pie
Coconut Cream Pie
Pecan Pie
Keylime Pie
They were all new adventures in baking for me, except for the keylime. It is so easy-peasy, and is one I have been making for a while now.
Beloved friends and readers and casual blog stalkers: how did YOU celebrate?

My goodness! Ashley - how have I never seen that before? I am loving it and geeking out! Thanks so much for showing me!
Awesome, right? I actually stole it from a friend of Jen's on FB, but I will take part of the credit for passing it on. :D
Also, how did I leave out two whole letters in "listened" in my previous comment? Or maybe it's some new slang... I'm going to go list to something else now.
