The Quest has Ended!

I know most of you have been as excited as I am about this subject.... new school shoes. Ever since that fateful day when I found my dream shoe, and created my countdown, I've been on the lookout for my precious zipper shoes. So i never expected all my deepest hopes and desires to be so radically changed in just one, pivotal moment. You might say it was... love at first sight.

I'm sure that, after seeing them, you understand why.

As you can see, they have robots, and rocket ships.

(Not to mention neon paint splatters)

So yes, You can call them homewreckers, but this new relationship is actually better for me.

Good News

If I was worried about being considered socially awkward at my new BYU ward, those fears are now officially qualmed. (<-- is that a real word? I always thought it was, but spell check is getting mad at me...)

Anyway, I was carousing about on the facebook group comprised of members of my new ward, when I found THIS little gem.

In response to the question, "What have you been up to this summer?" A certain someone (with whom i will most definitely get acquainted) responded, 

"I'm involved in a medieval combat game called Dagorhir with a few of my friends."

I kid you not. 

So yeah, needless to say, I'm a little less worried.

A Good Feeling

Do you want to know what a good feeling is? When your favorite song comes up on shuffle on your iPod or iTunes.

It's like God is saying, "It's okay, go ahead, listen to it." I feel like I'm being rewarded.

Wise words of wisdom

Remember that post I put up a while ago about Daxflame? Well... in addition to his self quotes, it turns out, he is actually a stand-up comedian, and a thoughtful one at that... Here's my favorite example: I have a new stand up joke! Here it is: The green frog jumps, the green frog leaps, the green frog is sits. It is more of a joke that makes you think and the audience would laugh later. Here is the key: Jumps and Leaps are just forms of jumping, and sitting is just the oppisite. So they will say "This is’nt funny?" and I will say "Think more" and they will say "Ah" _____________ Isn't that great?
